Your privacy matters to Guideway Labs Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share and protect personal information when you visit hello.guidewaylabs.com (the "Site") or use Hello, our conversational onboarding and matching platform (the "Service"). It also describes the rights and choices available to you.
Quick role guide:
- Job seeker – you build a profile with Compass, our candidate guide, and get matched to content and opportunities. We are the Data Controller of your profile data.
- Organisation – you set up an organisation with Harbor, our organisation guide, and publish content and opportunities. We are the Data Controller of your account data and a processor for the candidate data you receive through matches.

We need certain data to operate Hello. Without it we cannot provide the Service.
3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use essential cookies for security and core functionality, including keeping you signed in. Analytics cookies help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.
4. Who We Share Data With
We rely on trusted service providers bound by confidentiality agreements:
- Cloud hosting providers – infrastructure and storage (US)
- OpenAI, Anthropic, Google – LLM processing that powers Compass and Harbor (US)
- Payment processors – billing for paid organisation plans (US)
When an organisation and a job seeker are matched, the relevant profile information is shared with that organisation so they can connect with you. We do not sell your personal information.
We may add or replace sub-processors as our architecture evolves. We will update this section and, for material additions, give organisations at least 10 days' notice before the change takes effect.
We may also disclose data to competent authorities when legally required, or to protect rights, safety or prevent fraud.
5. International Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries that do not offer the same level of protection as your jurisdiction. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and comparable safeguards for such transfers.
6. Security & Breach Notification
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, employee NDAs and regular security assessments. If we become aware of a personal-data breach, we will notify affected users without undue delay, providing relevant facts and mitigation steps.
7. Automated Processing & Human Oversight
Hello generates automated matches and recommendations, but does not make solely automated decisions that legally or similarly significantly affect individuals. Matches are suggestions; organisations apply their own judgment before acting on them.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and receive a copy of your data. To exercise these rights, email support@guidewaylabs.com.
US State Privacy Rights (CA, CO, CT, UT, VA): You may request (i) a list of categories of personal information we collected, disclosed or sold; (ii) deletion; or (iii) opt-out of certain sharing. We do not sell personal information.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn that we have done so, we will delete it promptly.
10. Marketing Opt-Out
You can stop receiving marketing emails by clicking "unsubscribe" in any message or contacting support@guidewaylabs.com. Transactional messages about your account will still be sent.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may modify this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
